PMI in the World

Project Management Institute (PMI®) is a leading membership association for project management profession. PMI actively promotes the profession of project manager, creating standards, conducting research and providing access to information and resources concerning project management. PMI promotes career development by offering certification and giving access to the society of professional project managers.  Since its foundation PMI has been contributing to the career development of practitioners, who made project management indispensible in achieving business goals. Project Management Professional (PMP®) Credential is the most recognized in the branch.

PMI in Poland

PMI Warsaw, Poland Chapter was established on October 31, 2003. The association was a response to the market demand for professional project managers. Among founders of PMI WPC one could find partners, managers, project managers from Polish and international business organizations as well as external consultants. In 2007 PMI WPC changed its name to PMI Poland Chapter (PMI Poland).The organization has been restructured by establishing 5 new chapters in Gdansk, Cracow, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw.

PMP credential

Project Management Professional (PMP®)  Credential is the most renown and prestigious certification of professionalism in project management. The certificate can be obtained by people, who hold more than 4500 hours of experience and who will pass the exam checking the PMI methodology knowledge.

PMI membership advantages

PMI Poland Chapter organizes seminars conducted by practitioners. Participating in them one can exchange experiences, establish new business contacts and receive up to 20 PDU annually entitling to maintain the PMP credential.

How do become a member

PMI PC membership is available on-line via www.pmi.org. Individual or student membership is available for PMI Global members exclusively.

You can pay by mail or on-line, with the cards VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club. The Membership Due in the PMI PC (20 $) is charged directly by the PMI if you mark the ‘local Chapter’ option in the registration form.
