HISTORY
 
English Summer / Winter Camp are charity camps, organized by Project Management Institute Gdansk branch (summer edition - since 2004, winter edition - since 2010). The main goal is to let the children from orphanages and hoster families take part in English language courses, based on highest quality learning materials and practices. The intiative hes been supported by U.S. Embassy since 2007. 
 
 
 
THE GOAL

Thanks to English Summer / Winter Camp the children have an opportunity to take part in the classes that aim at:
  • improving their English 
  • showing different culkture 
  • strengthen their self-confidence
  • cope with stress
  • lower the aggression level
 
 
ADDITIONAL GOALS
  • to motivate the children to o self-develop
  • to assure the children that their hard work pays off 
  • to provide the children with a better start in future life
  • project management workshops for the volunteers

EWC 2012 PROJECT MANAGER 

 

We have a pleasure to announce that Marcin Kosidłowski has been appointed as English Winter Camp 2012 Project Manager. The next edition of the camp will take place during the winter school break 29th Jan – 11th Feb. Marcin is an English teacher, the language camps organizer and for the past few years a coordinator of European Union subsidized projects. He believes that through the teaching (also English language) we can help children to understand the modern world. Marcin congratulations and all the best!
